Jamie is an award winning artist based in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. He recently received funding from Creative New Zealand to create a new exhibition series titled Mauri Ora Breath of Life.
This new series brings together traditional and contemporary art and the development of new processes and techniques. It is a synthesis of wisdom gathered from different scientific disciplines, philosophies and religions. An indigenous metaphor is the landscape for this artistic expression of the process of creation.
